Add personal letterhead to existing letterhead dropdown box

How do I add a personal letterhead to the existing letterhead dropdown box?

The simplest method to do this is to create new stationery based on an existing letterhead. The below information is from the Notes help database.

It is also possible to create new letterhead in Domino Designer (or modify an existing letterhead), but you would have to modify the Domino mail template to include the new letterhead or else no one else would be able to see it, unless you stored the form in the document, which would make all of your mail messages take up a lot more space than necessary.

To create stationery based on an existing memo

  1. Open your mail database.

  2. Make sure you want the current letterhead as part of the stationery you want to create, and if not, select a different letterhead.

Note: "Plain Text" is the simplest letterhead.

  3. Create a message with a recipient list you want to use as stationery.

  4. (Optional) Enter any text you want to re-use in the rich-text area.

  5. From the menu, choose Actions -> Tools -> Save as Stationery.

  6. Type a name for the stationery and click OK. Notes saves the message in the Stationery view of your mail database.

Tip: You can also create memo stationery in the Tools -> Stationery view by choosing Actions -> New - Memo >- Using Stationery.

To create personal stationery including rich text or graphics

  1. Open your mail database.

  2. Make sure you want the current letterhead as part of the stationery you want to create, and if not, select a different letterhead.

Note: "Plain Text" is the simplest letterhead.

  3. In the navigation pane, click Tools then Stationery to open the Stationery view.

  4. In the view, choose Actions -> New -> Stationery -> Personal.

  5. After the first bracket under Header, insert any graphics or text you want to show at the top of the message.

Tip: Importing is the best way to include graphics.

  6. Between the red brackets, insert any graphics or text you want to show just before the body of the message.

  7. Between the last two brackets, insert any graphics or text you want to show at the end of the page.

Tip: To use your signature in this field, insert it between the red brackets, and then cut and paste it between the last two brackets.

  8. Click Save and name your stationery.

To create a message using stationery

  1. Open your mail database.

  2. Choose Actions -> Tools -> New Memo -> Using Stationery.

  3. Select the stationery you want to use and click OK.

Note: The date on the letterhead for the stationery may not appear correct before you send the message, but Notes corrects it during delivery.
