Where can I find step-by-step instructions for analyzing a Notes.rip file? The process of
annotating also needs to be explained there.
Reading rips is almost like an art form. Once you learn how, problems seem to jump out at you.
Learning how to read them is another problem altogether. I usually just point people to the
Knowledgebase on this. Simple things to look for in a rip are database names in the column on the
right. That is normally your culprit. Depending on what program errored out, you should be able to
determine what tools or actions should be used. If you go to the Knowledgebase and search on
?annotator,? you will get over 60 hits. The second one listed for me is a technote listing what the
annotator is and how it works. It is technote 166414. It is at http://www.lotus.com/home.nsf/welcome/support.
