Becoming a CLI in the administration path?

I'm interested in becoming a CLI in the administration path. I have some experience teaching (system administration, maintaining a Domino server infrastructure) in private companies in Argentina, where I live.

I would like to know about job oportunities for CLI's outside Argentina, and if there is a way to get practical experience with an LAEC before getting CLI status. Any help would be appreciated.
Unfortunately for you, LAEC's - as part of their agreement - can only use instructors who have qualified as CLI's.

This means that you will not be able to perform any "hands on" instruction until you have achieved your CLI certification.

Some regions are able to use non-certified instructors for end-user (non technical) courses - check with your local LAEC to see if this is the case in your region. This could be one way to at least get some experience teaching Notes, and may assist in your CLI application when you are ready to take the next step.

As for Job opportunities in other regions of the world - I am aware of some regions (eg: Europe) where there is currently a demand for quality Instructors. Check the Internet based job search engines using the keyword "CLI"
