Q

Can a preview pane work within a frame set?

I have been developing R5 applications for some time now with frame sets. Is there a way to get the preview pane to work inside a frame set? I would like users to view documents with the preview pane. Should I be using navigators instead to get this to work? My applications are not generally Web-based.
I can't find any way to use the preview pane within a frame. However, you can accomplish much the same effect by creating a separate frame within the frame set to display the document contents. Using the frame properties dialog, set the name of that frame to (let's say) Preview. Then in the properties of the frame that contains the view, type Preview in the "Default target" field.
