Q

Capturing Web delete

Hi! I would like to know how to get a message(prompt: Are you sure you want to delete? Yes/No) specifically for the Web, and after deleting the document I would like to see a page (with an embedded view) displayed.

Your answer depends on how you are are triggering the delete. The easiest solution is to create a form called $$ReturnDocumentDeleted. John Mackey also posted a great solution using this method on NotesNet.

There are a number of tips on our site that also discuss how to trigger/perfom the deletion. You might want to check these links.
