Connection of Linux machine with MySQL database in DECS?

We have the following problem:

We are running a Domino server on a Linux machine (RedHat 7.2). And on the same machine is a MySQL database. When we try to set up a connection between these two in DECS (also running on the same machine) we get the following error message: error:[unixODBC]Missing server name, port, or database name in call to CC_connect., Connector 'odbc2', Method -Connect- (201).

When we test the ODBC data source with a different program it seems to work fine. Can you help us?
I was not sure if this configuration was supported so I checked with a resource at Lotus EI. The response that I received was that they have not performed any specific testing of MySQL on Linux, but DECS is supported on Linux. There was a problem reported using the Oracle Connector, which was fixed in R5.0.9, so they have definitely done development and testing with the Linux platform. Since other Connectors do indeed work on Linux you should try running the LCTest program. This may help resolve possible ODBC driver configuration issues and or produce a different error that might help you fix the problem. As I often do, I would like to encourage you to contact Lotus support with specific configuration and error message details.
