I have a pretty basic question about Lotus Notes R5. I have a database with client names and a sales figure for each sale made with that client. The form also lists the sales agent.

I would like to have a summary report that would list each agent as a category and then each client and the sales amount under that agent. I would then like to have a summary total for each agent and a grand total for all agents. Can this be done in Lotus Notes R5? If it can, what resource or learning tool would you recommend so I can do this report by myself?
Take a look at the sort tab in the view column properties. At the bottom you can use the ?total? drop down to select how you would like the summary to display. This would well for categorized views as you automatically get the total for each category as well as for the entire view.
