Q

Creating a supplemental address book for suppliers

We are using a Notes Server 5.0.5 on a NT platform.

I want to setup an additional address book which will contain addresses of my suppliers. Suppliers have addresses from hotmail or yahoo or any other POP3 addresses.

How do I accomplish this?

The easiest way is to create a new database based on the Personal Address Book template and put it on your server. You then append the new database (xyz.nsf) to the "Names=..." line of the server's notes.ini. The next time you start the server, your new address book will be available to all server based mail clients. It is up to you to populate the data and keep it current, but anyone will be able to use it.
