Q

Does obtaining a CLP increase my earning potential?

I have a B.S. in Business Administration and a CLS in R4 Admin/AppDev and CLS R5 Admin. As a Notes Administrator with 4 years of experience, would obtaining a CLP increase my earning potential?

http://www.lotus.com/home.nsf/welcome/clpsurvey details the latest results of Lotus' CLP salary survey.

The results demonstrate a Lotus CLS with two certifications or more can expect an average salary of US$79,000, while those with CLP certification average US$87,000.

The results would indicate that an investment of a few hundred dollars in certification examinations can lead to a substantial salary increase.
