Our company uses Lotus Notes (Release 5.0.5) and we have been using it for about one year. My first question is this: When we made a copy of our Address Book in the Domino server, we made some changes on the view of the screen. The problem is that when we double click to see the document details for the document shown on the view, we get the following message: "Object variable not set". We can still see the details of the document, but we can't remove this message from the screen. How do we change this?

2. We developed an application in Lotus Notes Script. We created fields called Assignment (Rich Text) in the form. How could we find or set this field to show the column in the View? We tried to search this field in the display field (on the column of the View) but couldn't find it.
For your question #1, when you made the copy of the database your ACL settings (actual ACL level or a Role) were probably not set appropriately so you did not get all of the design objects - like a certain Sub-Form, etc. The only way to get this error to go away is find the missing piece(s) and paste them into your copy. If you actually deleted any design elements I suggest you start over and hide those elements instead. For your question #2, you cannot display Rich Text in a View. This would be quickly answered by a friendly suggestion of getting some training ---> Find the closest LAEC or buy some CBTs and take the introductory Admin and App Dev courses. I have started several junior developers by giving them CBTs and hands-on training and it makes a huge difference. The training will take you a long way.
