Getting error when working with DECS on Linux

I've installed Lotus Domino 5.0.9 on Linux RedHat 7.3 kernel 2.4.20-19.7smp. Everything works, except DECS, with this error message:
> load decs
Realtime service addin task initialization failed: /usr/lib/libdecsext.so

DECS: DECS Server Extension Manager library is not being initialized. Make sure the DECS Server is properly installed and the line 'EXTMGR_ADDINS=libdecsext.so' is in the NOTES.INI file
DECS Server shutdown complete

I've modified notes.ini and added the full path of libdecsext.so, and nothing.
I just checked the Lotus Web site and they currently state that ND6 is supported on Redhat 7.2 and ND 6.5 is OK on RedHat Advanced Server 2.1. My guess is that Lotus has neither tested nor certified RedHat 7.3 for Domino/DECS.
