We are using integrated Sametime chat with Lotus Notes 6.5.1. We are not using the full Sametime client. Some users get a pop-up when a chat is initiated; others only get a flashing indicator on the menu bar. Is there a way to have everyone get the pop-up?
At this point, I am only aware of users modifying their preferences utilizing either the Sametime (IM) client, or the browser-based connect client. Modifying the alert preferences through either of these applications will allow the user to choose whether to receive a pop-up focused window, a blinking taskbar button, or both. It also includes the ability to play a sound whenever a chat is activated.
As for a global setting that affects all users -- I am not aware of one, but I am trying hard to find out.
