We are on our last step of migration to R5 which is the desktop upgrades. We have folks that are on laptops and sometimes disconnected from the network. We would like everyone to use basics plus with a modified 4 pane interface. How do we manage and maintain it easily? The ntf lookup to another bookmark db that holds the customized page will not work with the folks who work at home on their machines or off their laptops while traveling. If we put them locally, it will be very hard to make changes since we would have to touch those machines by hand. Any suggestions?
That's one of the more taxing issues with a home bookmark page. In Rnext, this will be pushable from a server. However, in R5, it is not easily managed. I don't have any good suggestions for you in R5.
