Message notification not received on shared PC

When invitations are sent from the managers mail db to a user group, which includes both of the individuals using this pc, the creator of the invitation does not receive notification of the meeting. The other person using this pc does the same thing and does receive notification. Changes the Notes.ini field -'NewMailSeqNum' - has made no difference.

All I can think of is that the location document has the wrong mail file listed, or the manager's mail file has an incorrect mail file owner listed in preferences.
