If you have set up password recovery, how do you move the user to a new piece of hardware? We would like to enable PW recovery but are concerned about the impact on user service.
I don't see why this would be a problem. The password recovery information is kept in the certifier ID file, the user's ID file and the password recovery database on the server. I can't think of a reason that a new workstation for a user would disrupt the PW recovery feature. Of course, you must move the user's ID file to the new computer, but this is standard practice.
