Notes upgrade did not work for address book

I recently upgraded a PC that had Notes 5.11 to 6.5. The upgrade process went okay, but I'm having a problem with the personal address book. When I try to open the address book, it shows no entries. Apparently during the upgrade process a new address book was created. I did a search on names.nsf and it found the file and tried to open it manually. It shows that all entries are there, but when I'm creating a new memo and click on the address...tab to bring up my personal address book, it only list the new address book with no entries. Did the upgrade not work for my personal address book, or is something else the problem here?

By default, your client will look to the names.nsf, unless something else is specified in your notes.ini. If you do a Database Properties on the blank database, what is the file name? Are you sure your old NAB is in the notesdata path of the existing install? As a last resort, you can always copy the entries over from the old to the new.

MEMBER FEEDBACK TO THIS ASK THE EXPERT Q&A:

The answer was not sufficient. The cause may be that the file names.nsf has been disconnected from the template names.ntf. If so , just add the right template name in the database properties/structure.
