I've installed DECS to test it. It is making a connection between a Notes database and an Oracle table. When updating/creating/deleting a document from Notes, the update is OK on the Oracle side. But, when making any modification/deletion/creation on the Oracle table, the update is not transmitted to Notes. Have I forgotten to do something? How can I solve this? Thanks a lot in advance.
The functionality you are expecting -- to have an update in Oracle effect the Notes data, is not what DECS provides. DECS monitors Notes document events -- e.g., when a document is created/saved for the first time, updated, deleted. However, it has no knowledge of what events are occurring inside the Oracle system. To get updates made in Oracle, you will need to use one or more LEI activities to pull Oracle deltas into your Notes database.
