Problem with XP passing new password to Notes

We are attempting to set up a single log-on for our Notes 6.5.1 clients who are using XP desktops. There seems to be a problem with XP passing the new password to Notes. (Notes does not appear to have a problem passing the new password back to XP.)

IBM has suggested that we should be using the latest "Service Pack" for XP and the 6.5.2 Notes client. I have checked the attributes of the required EXEs and DLLs, as stated in IBM's documentation, and we are currently running newer versions of these files. I have installed the 6.5.2 Notes client, but the single log-on still fails when attempting to change the user's password from XP. I have also tried version 6.5.3 of the Notes client -- same results. Any suggestions?

I am also looking for information on how we can sync a user's Sametime password with their Notes client and have it stay in sync. We are in the process of upgrading from R5 to ND6.5 and are desperately searching for solutions to these problems.

I know XP and AD are supposed to be able to change the Notes ID password, but I have never gotten it to work. I have only had success with the standard R5 way of changing the Notes password, having that sync and change your AD password.

As for the Sametime password, that should sync up if you have that option checked in the person document to have the Notes password sync up with the Internet password. For this to work, you need to have Sametime in the same domain as your regular Domino servers, and AdminP needs to be working properly.
