Q

Send graphics from Notes in an email rather than as attachments

How can I send graphics from a Notes mail account to an Internet address and have the graphics received rather than as file attachments?

A couple of assumptions need to be made here:

  • The graphic has been pasted or imported into the Notes mail document (so you can see it directly in Notes, not as an attachment)
  • You are using Notes 5 or higher
  • If the above are true, you *should* be able to send a graphic as an in-line MIME element by going into your mail preference settings and set the property for "Send outgoing e-mail in" to "MIME and Rich Text Format". That should do it. Try that and let me know.
