After I upgraded the Lotus Domino Server from 5.0 to 5.0a, we cannot send outgoing mails. The Router Message appears as "Router: Failed to connect to SMTP host xx.xx.xx.xx because server is not responding" But we can receive incoming emails. What seems to be the problem?
There could be a number of things. Can you ping the server? Can you telnet into port 25 on it? If you cannot, the problem lies on the SMTP host. Otherwise, I need more info.
