I have 2 PC, both with Win2K Pro, Notes 5.0.8 and IE 5.5 installed. As I input "Notes:///<replica ID>" in IE's address bar to connect to one of my local Notes database, one of my PCs can automatically start up Notes client and open that Notes database successfully, but the other PC is failed (did nothing, even not start up Notes client).

Does this really work? If so, it is new to me. (Or maybe I am out of the loop on this feature.) You are saying that a Web browser can cause the Notes program to start up and open a particular database...? I tried the syntax you suggested and nothing happened.

If this works (and someone knows how to do it) please let me know and I will post it for all to see.
