Q

Studying for CLP Sys Admin

I am interested in obtaining my CLP Sys Admin. What study material, besides daily use of Administrator, would you suggest?

My first recommendation would be to attend the LAEC course "Maintaining a Domino Server Infrastructure", that session will introduce you to basic Domino concepts, services, and database management. The advantage of attending the course is that the Courseware provided now includes a "Self-test-software" demonstration disk, as well as the full Administration document pack (yellow-books) on CD.

Downloading the certification guide for System Administration at:

http://www.lotus.com/certification

will provide you with the examination names and competencies covered to achieve your CLP in system administration.

There is also quite a bit of information available for the "Maintaining a Domino Servers and Users" and "Implementing a Domino Server Infrastructure" at the Cramsession web-site:

http://studyguides.cramsession.com/cramsession/lotus/default.asp

Have a great journey...
