What happens when Sent To field exceeds maximum character limit?

In the Sent to field if I go over the maximum characters, what happens to the address in the field that was over the max characters?

If you enter more than 15,360 characters (15k) in the to field, this exceeds the maximum number of characters that a summary field may contain. A field must have the summary flag to be displayed in a view. If a Send To field has more than 15,360 characters and is less than 32 KB, the field will not be displayed in a view, but will be OK to use.

If you populate the field with more than 32 KB characters (32,768), you will probably get an error message depending on how you are populating the field. Most likely, your message will not be sent to the entire list of recipients.
