Workflow, Lotus connectors and DECS on Linux
Lotus Workflow is currently supported in Domino R5 for Linux. Will
it also be supported in ND6? What if the customer decides to upgrade or go
straight to ND6? Are the base connectors for Oracle DB, SQL, ODBC available on Domino R5 for the Linux platform? How about Domino 6 for the
Linux platform?
LEI 6 would include support for Linux, but we would like to give the customer the option to use DECS and Lotus Script with the connectors, aside from LEI. I would like to know if it is safe to say if these connectors are available on Linux in both versions of Domino.
Regarding Workflow, I have not heard anything stating that Lotus will
not be supporting the product. Regarding Lotus Connectors and DECS on Linux, all the Base Connectors should work on Linux. There was a bug with using ODBC that was fixed with R5.0.9. So, your customers should ensure that there servers are current.
