QUESTION POSED ON: 11 October 2004
I have a series of interdependent LEI activities. I would like to track them so, if any one fails, a trigger will send to an activity form LEI, which will send out e-mails to a mailbox or a mobile device.

EXPERT RESPONSE
Configuring an LEI activity to send an e-mail when the job is complete, either with or without success, is easy to set up. Open the Activity document in edit mode, scroll down below the Field Mapping to the tabbed table and click on the Activity Execution Options tab. The last option is "Send Log Report and Status," which has three options and is set to "Never" by default. Change the "On Error," then enter or select the E-mail Recipients. This field has a Name and Address Book selection button, but you can also type in addresses, such as a pager number, into the field.
