QUESTION POSED ON: 21 April 2005
I need to hide an attachment in a rich text field from certain users in the Notes client (not the web browser). I've been able to hide text and tables in the rich text field, but the attachment appears at the bottom of the document, when it should be hidden. Any ideas as to how I can accomplish this?

I've run into this issue in the past. I do not know of a way to do this when the attachment is in the document. At times we have ended up putting attachments in response documents and had computed links displayed to the $file in the response document when we wished them to display.
