QUESTION POSED ON: 23 June 2005
Can we have a Single Sign On facility from the customer's Oracle Web portal to the Domino 6.5.4 server mailbox? The customer requirement is that they want a link -- or Domino mail -- on the Web portal, and users will authenticate once in the Oracle portal and then access their Notes mailbox automatically. Is this doable?

EXPERT RESPONSE
For Web access/DWA, this is certainly possible. You would simply have to write a script that passes the credentials from the Oracle portal to the Domino server. If you have your Domino server using directory assistance, and the Oracle directory is a trusted LDAP source for Domino, this should not be too difficult. However, I do not know of a way to have your Oracle portal provide SSO for Notes client access.
