Probably the easiest way is to use DECS, which comes with the Domino server.
Create a virtual fields activity, select the option to "Leave all real-time fields in documents" and use the Initialize Keys action. This will create Notes documents that have copies of all the fields you have mapped. Now, just forget to enable the activity and you are all set.
