QUESTION POSED ON: 07 August 2005
We are running Domino 6.5.4 FP1 on an iSeries. Most of our users access mail using Domino Web Access. Recently we have been experiencing a problem where the Preferences window opens as soon as the user logs into e-mail. The user cannot make any changes in Preferences, and existing changes are erased. Users cannot close the Preferences window, and if you try to Save and Close, the user receives a "Document has been Deleted" error window. All e-mails are affected. Any idea of what is happening here?

EXPERT RESPONSE
To be honest, I have never seen or heard of this before. My initial thought is you might have a corrupted mail template that has affected your mail files. I suggest you try reloading the design on a few files to test it out.
