QUESTION POSED ON: 27 July 2005
Are there any technical reasons to upgrade an LEI 3.1 server to the current version, before configuring a new set of database transactions? What is the current version, and is version 3.1 still supported? Do you have a list of updates or new features that would make configuring Notes 6.x to Oracle 7 easier with the new version?

>

LEI is now being released concurrent with Notes/Domino releases, so the latest version is 7.0. You should use the same version as your Domino server, by and large, if you're doing any realtime activities. I don't know what versions are currently supported. There are a bunch of UI improvements in the LEI Administrator database in 6.0 and later that might make it easier to configure your tasks with the new version.
