QUESTION POSED ON: 23 September 2005
I recently upgraded from Domino R5 to R6.5. Now I have a problem when using Default Notes Search. I have this categorized view which contains documents with their responses. I do not use any $$ViewTemplate or $$SearchTemplate.

When I search anything, Default Notes Search gives me the search results with the number of responses in brackets, e.g., Tax Exemptions (320 responses). Pleaes help me get rid of this stuff!

EXPERT RESPONSE
You say you do not use any $$ViewTemplate or $$SearchTemplate. But to change the functionality, you will indeed need to create a $$SearchTemplate.
