QUESTION POSED ON: 06 March 2008
I've copied several forms from one Lotus Notes database to another. I then modified a Lotus Notes view and copied over documents that use these forms. When I try to open one of the new documents, I repeatedly get the error, "Illegal circular use: Audit Trail." What does this message mean and how can I resolve the problem?

>
EXPERT RESPONSE
The form that you're referring to contains some LotusScript code with the statement: Use "Audit Trail." Because you didn't copy the script library "Audit Trail," along with the forms, the code fails to load.
