QUESTION POSED ON: 29 August 2001
I have installed a Sametime server in a Domino test environment, and it is a dedicated Sametime server. I am trying to get to the Sametime Administration section of the home page, however it asks for a name and password. The installation I did was "Set up as a Sametime server in an existing Domino domain." When you choose this option, you are not prompted for Administrator info which will allow you to Administer Sametime. Therefore, how do you Administer Sametime when choosing "Set up as a Sametime server in an existing Domino domain"?

It requires the password of an administrator to the database, stconf.nsf. By default, "Default" is set to manager. Access the DB from your Notes client and modify the ACL to your liking. Then go back into it via a browser to configure it. You will need to enter your HTTP ID and password to gain access to the section.
