How can we implement a scenario like this: a database can be opened only after a particular date and only by combination of 3 peoples ids? (ie. without the presence of even one person out of the three should not permit the opening of database.)

This is a great question! Unfortunately, I have no idea how you can do this with Domino. I suspect that it is not possible, since connections to Domino are made by a "person" authenticated with a particular Notes ID (or username/password). Perhaps another reader has some idea, but I don't think you can do it. You might try posting this on the Notes.Net Forum (http://www.notes.net/46dom.nsf?OpenDatabase) because lots of Domino heavies hang out there.
