QUESTION POSED ON: 13 May 2002 I have a predefined Excel file. I have also developed an Intranet Web-enabled solution using Domino. But, I need to display the Excel file from my Web page as an online link with the excel file.
a. The Excel file must be opened from the Web. It is a shared file resided in the server. The data is updated from another Notes DB via agent.
b. If someone updates the data in Excel, the Web version of the file needs to be updated instantly as an online link. The Excel file also contains lots of graph.
c. What tool should I use to create chart from Notes data?
d. In Excel by running a Web query we can collect data, but can I pass the query string from Lotus Script in run time? Normally it is a pre-defined query.

I'm not completely sure I understand what you mean by "online link." I assume you mean a standard hypertext link created with an anchor tag ( <A> ). Does item b. mean that when a user is viewing the Excel file, if changes are made on the back-end, you want to update the display of the file in the user's browser? If so, that will be very tricky if not impossible.
For a charting tool, you might look at Crystal Reports, or maybe export the data and use Excel. I don't really understand item d.
