QUESTION POSED ON: 06 June 2002 DXL is an excellent tool for converting Domino data into XML, which is
especially useful for getting out the content of RT fields. But if you
would like to present it to users, you should convert DXL into HTML,
probably with an XSL file. Do I have to create it on my own? Do you have
any information where I can find it?
>
If "it" is the XSL file then "yes" you're on your own. Reason being
that XML is a tagging standard and not a file format standard. So, there are
too many formats floating around the Internet World to provide XSL files,
plus they are complicated to write. Wrox Press has a good book on XSL that
should help you along your way. The nice thing about learning XSL is that
it is XML to the Nth degree. So, you learn a lot about XML along the way.
