QUESTION POSED ON: 14 February 2003
How can I query and add documents from Lotus Notes to SQL Server? I have started to look into LEI for Domino 6, but I'm not sure this is the best solution.

>
LEI is the most robust solution, especially if you want to actually store the documents in the SQL server. If you only need to look at individual fields, etc., you can use Domino Enterprise Connection Services (DECS) or the Domino Connection Library (DCL). All three may be maintained in R6 using the same process -- creating data connection design elements and setting the properties of the forms, databases and views to use the connections. Check on Notes.net for white papers on using LEI with R6.
