LEI is the most robust solution, especially if you want to actually store the documents in the SQL server. If you only need to look at individual fields, etc., you can use Domino Enterprise Connection Services (DECS) or the Domino Connection Library (DCL). All three may be maintained in R6 using the same process -- creating data connection design elements and setting the properties of the forms, databases and views to use the connections.
