QUESTION POSED ON: 20 October 2003
Can you set up Domino to pass authentication to an external directory via LDAP? For instance, when a user is prompted to log in to Notes, it won't look at the Domino Directory for authentication. Instead it will look to the external directory (e.g., eTrust)?

Set up directory assistance and list your eTrust server as an LDAP source that is trusted for credentials.
