Tony Higham is an executive IT architect in the WebSphere Portal Technology team at IBM. During his career of more than 25 years, Tony held various roles including assembler programmer, infrastructure engineer and object-oriented software engineer, progressing to ultimately become a seasoned architect with business acumen. With a focus on WebSphere Portal and related technologies, Tony architects enterprise portal solutions for IBM's largest and most demanding clients. In his role as liaison between the business and technology teams, Tony finds practical and cost-effective solutions to the technical and organizational challenges that customers face. He is a die-hard technologist and bases his successes on a passion for "practice what you preach."
