Notes/Domino 7 tops agenda for Lotus user group's first virtual meeting

LotusUserGroup.org is holding its inaugural Virtual User Group meeting today. A Notes/Domino 7 previewis on the agenda.

LotusUserGroup.org is holding its inaugural Virtual User Group meeting at noon EST today (4 p.m. GMT).

Three IBM officials – Ed Brill, head of Worldwide Lotus Messaging Sales; Rob Ingram, Lotus Domino Product Manager; and Mark Jourdain, Lotus Application Development Product Manager – will lead the meeting, which offers an overview of Notes/Domino 7.

The IBM trio will focus on the Notes client, the Domino server, the Domino admin client and Domino Designer. The agenda has been described as a sneak peek at IBM's upcoming Notes/Domino 7 customer launch events.

The event is open only to registered members of LotusUserGroup.org. As of Tuesday afternoon, nearly 1,300 members had signed up for the event, according to LotusUserGroup.org program director Libby Ingrassia.

For those unable to attend the live meeting, the webcast will be online in 24-48 hours, Ingrassia said.
