Alma launches online survey app with WAP technology
Alma, a Lotus Premier Partner in Grenoble, France, launched Interview?! WAP, a surveying tool that allows companies to conduct surveys and interviews and receive responses over a WAP phone. Interviewers can manage surveys through a Notes Client or a Web browser posting questionnaires via e-mail or a Web browser and allowing responses through a Web browser or a WAP phone. Interview?! runs on a Lotus Domino server (R 4.6 and R 5) and is available in English, German and French.
AedifiComm's releases WorkplaceControl 2.1 for Notes administrators
AedifiComm, an independent consultant and manufacturer of products and services for Lotus Notes and Domino based in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, released WorkplaceControl 2.1, an upgrade of its WorkplaceControl product. WorkplaceControl 2.1 allows administrators to centrally manage the end user's Notes environment, including security elements such as location and connection documents, local database replicas in-settings, Workspace icons and local database encryption, ultimately creating more efficient and cost-effective mail migrations and rollouts.
Candle extends Notes performance monitoring with S/390 support
Candle Corp., an independent e-business software company based in Los Angeles, announced its IntelliWatch Monitor for the S/390 server, a customizable Notes performance monitoring software tool that enables automated management of Notes and Domino servers on the S/390. The product will also enable traditional Notes teams to seamlessly migrate Notes across operating platforms from Windows NT and Unix to the S/390 by retaining the same management system on each platform. The product will begin shipping to customers in the fourth quarter.

CE Computer Equipment AG launched CE Forever, its new archive connect system that realizes the complete integration of CE Document Server into a Lotus Notes environment. CE Forever works as an interface connecting Lotus Notes with an index for unprocessed documents directly from their usual applications. On the basis of CE Document Server, CE Forever allows the secure and long-term filing of documents and data. As CE Forever allows the simultaneous integration of several filing and index systems, it can be easily integrated with heterogeneous legacy environments. It is available for Windows 3.x, Windows 95/98, 2000, Windows NT and OS/2, and AIX.

The main feature of the new system includes the integration of Real-Technology. . Conet Consulting AG, in Hennef/Rhineland, Germany announced the you@web e-portal Framework, the first Lotus Domino platform-based corporate portal. The you@web e-Portal Framework delivers a central point of entry into the information landscape of companies and government agencies. Its main features include its browser-based user interfaces, which can be specifically tailored to a user's individual needs, and the so called "team places" for user groups with similar or equal needs of information, such as the controlling or sales department. Simultaneously, CONET also releases eOffice Management, its latest product of the you@web Business Suite, which consists of eOffice Management, eProject Management, eHuman Resources Management and eCustomer Relationship Management.
