Lotus honors business partners in Berlin

Lotus has singled out its top business partners and handed out the 2000 Lotus Euro Beacon Awards. The fifth annual ceremony at Lotusphere Europe 2000 honored product, solutions and services achievements in Lotus' Business Partner community based in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Lotus selected winners in 11 categories from hundreds of nominees and named for the first time a Best Mobile Intranet Solution. S CIO A/S of Charlottenlund, Denmark took the inaugural award for WAP for GoPro, a case management solution that extends traditional customer record management to a mobile phone.

Other Beacon Award winners include EMEA Business Partner Achievement recipient PC-Ware Information Technologies AG of Leipzig, Germany for its outstanding performance in the public sector and Rising Star award winner Anzima Co-operative Solutions, a Beirut, Lebanon company recognized for pioneering the introduction of Lotus Notes in areas with socio-economic.
