Casahl application integration tool cited

Casahl Replic-Action 5.2 for Lotus Notes was rated a "Top Application Integration Tool'' in the June issue of Lotus Advisor Magazine. The data integration software is a product of Casahl Technologies Inc., San Ramon, Calif.

Watson joins Endeca

Steve Watson, former a group manager of worldwide advertising for Lotus, has joined Endeca, a provider of data integration, organization and navigation software in Cambridge, Mass., has director of marketing communications. He was also director of Web marketing at Idiom Technologies. At Lotus he developed and marketed the "Work the Web"' and "SuperHumanSoftware" for Lotus Notes and Domino.

United Messaging names new CEO

United Messaging, West Chester, Pa., has named J. Benjamin Trowbridge chief executive officer and chairman of the board. He succeeds acting CEO Ron Rodgers, who has been serving in that capacity as well as chief financial officer, since Robert Jones left the post in January due to illness. Rodgers will continue as executive vice president and CFO. Trowbridge was a managing partner for Ernst & Young's outsourcing services business and chief operating officer of its global outsourcing business. United Messaging provides messaging via hosted Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Domino and iPlanet e-mail and professional services.

Everdream offers Notes e-mail support

Everdream Corp., a provider of comprehensive desktop management products in Fremont, Calif., now offers Lotus Notes e-mail support. Everdream's desktop management service, known as Dreamservice's technology offers hardware management, operating systems, application and image management, asset and procurement management, data backup, virus protection, virtual desk-side help, self-healing capabilities and back-end integration.

DYS Analytics links up with Lotus

DYS Analytics, Wellesley, Mass., has made an alliance with Lotus Professional Services, the consulting division of Lotus, Cambridge, Mass., an IBM company. Lotus Professional Services may now resell DYS Analytics Enterprise Traffic Management Solutions and use DYS tools in its consulting engagements.
