Sybari launches partner program
East Northport, N.Y.-based Sybari Software, Inc. has launched a partner program designed to deliver new sales and revenue opportunities to resellers, VARs, system integrators, and consulting firms throughout North America.
Sybari is the developer of the Antigen antivirus, content-management, and e-mail security software for Microsoft Exchange and Lotus Domino/Notes environments.
Sybari's Enterprise Certified Partner Program offers sales, product and technical training, pre- and post technical support, joint sales calls, lead distribution, and priority support. The program will have four levels of involvement based on partner commitment and activity.

Emerging Technology wins Beacon Award
Emerging Technology Solutions of Franktown, Colo., has won one of 12 IBM Beacon Awards awarded at IBM's recent PartnerWorld 2002 event in San Francisco, Calif. Emerging Technology was recognized in the category of Excellence in Partnering.
Emerging Technology received the award for teaming up with IBM Business Partners, Key Information Systems and Tech Frameworks Inc. to provide Gundlach Bundschu Winery with a way to manage its more than 3,000 wine club members with an estimated ROI of 195% in the project's first year.

Mindspan and VIP launch new e-learning initiatives
IBM Mindspan Solutions, based in Somers, N.Y., and Golden River, Calif.-based VIP Ltd., have announced the addition of IBM Software Services for the enhanced distributed learning environment to the IBM Mindspan Solutions portfolio of e-learning offerings.
Jointly developed by VIP and IBM Global Services, the enhanced distributed learning environment provides hardware, software and services to support training and streamlining the implementation process. The product leverages the capabilities of the IBM Content Manager and IBM Lotus LearningSpace.
IBM Mindspan Solutions specializes in leveraging the e-learning services, content and technology expertise of IBM and Lotus to provide organizations with e-learning solutions.

Calypso E-mail available for OEM licensing
Dallas, Tx.-based Micro Computer Systems, Inc., a subsidiary of NEC America, has announced that its Calypso E-mail product is available for OEM licensing for companies wishing to launch a stand-alone e-mail client product or embed e-mail into their existing technology offering.
Calypso E-mail prevents computer viruses received in attachments from being replicated to everyone in a user's address book. The product was designed to meet the demands of users who want a single e-mail application that could manage multiple e-mail accounts. Calypso E-mail does so by providing multiple identities and signatures, junk mail filtering, pager or text-based phone notification, e-mail templates, blind sending, spell checker and global message search capabilities.
