This month's roundup of Domino-related product news highlights tools for data searching and monitoring, mobile management, e-publishing and server-based faxing.

Desktop, e-mail search options enhanced

X1 Technologies Inc. has combined its desktop search and content connection interfaces in its latest software release, X1 Enterprise Edition. The program supports desktop-based, browser-based or mobile clients on Notes/Domino as well as other platforms. X1 Enterprise lets users call up data from shared file folders and e-mail messages as well as their own desktops, and users can edit data regardless of where it's been saved.

Meanwhile, Fetch PURSUIT 2.5, an e-mail database search tool, is now available from e-mail management firm metaLogic Inc. The update now allows users beyond the administrative team to search e-mail, journals, archives and custom-built Notes databases. In addition, the search capability has been extended to the full text of a document, and duplicate messages can be removed from search results.
