Five tips to improve email performance

Last week, IBM revealed that it has created a new benchmark to simulate e-mail workloads in a real-world environment. Here are a few of our recent tips related to e-mail performance.

This tip on controlling e-mail through Domino Mail Rules (which won first prize in our April tip contest) shows a way of controlling how e-mail is sent to a large number of recipients as well as how to protect inboxes from unwanted messages.

This tip explains the mail journaling feature in R6, which allows you to save a copy of all e-mails that flow through your Domino mail system.

This trick offers a simple way to control mail file size by preventing users from automatically sending back attachments with replies.

This agent deletes dead mail in mail.boxes, while this follow-up timesaver gives readers a way to do the same thing without script code.
