To keep posted on what's happening in your environment, you can use the simple newsletter agent. You give it some selection criteria, and a frequency, and it will deliver neat overviews of what has been changed or added in databases, logs, event files, names and address books -- complete with a list of document titles and links. No more endless browsing and checking!
Go to shared code, and create a new agent. Choose 'simple actions' as its code form. Go to 'add action' below and choose 'newsletter summary.' Fill in the fields of the dialog box. For the mail address choose an address within the Domino environment (Notes links do not survive outside of that). Choose the view it will run on carefully. Schedule the agent. Delete the first newsletter you receive (it will contain a link to everything in that view). Then you can sit back and enjoy your free news agency that is keeping you posted on your network!
