The top tip, A fun site, with serious code, comes from Chuck Connell, SearchDomino.com's security and administration expert. Its popularity is likely due in part to its subject – a Web site allowing visitors to rant about their bosses and rate other visitors' tales of woe – but the tip does show admins how to create an online voting mechanism.

Another SearchDomino.com expert, Sametime guru Mathew Newman, penned a popular tip. In Sametime all the time, Mathew provided answers to a variety of Lotus instant messaging questions, from licensing to community and meeting services.

Using the same question-and-answer format, Domino administration expert Michael Lazar helped users solve

Notes-Outlook integration admin woes such as exporting Outlook e-mails to Notes and getting Notes to send readable attachments to Outlook users.

The next tip comes from site member Margie Walsh, who shared a quick trick for mail file size control. By making a simple change under Shared Actions in the Notes 6 mail template, Margie set up Notes so her users stopped replying with attachments – and few of them noticed.

Finally, site member Brittany Lazarski submitted a tip that generated much interest among SearchDomino.com users. Bethany provided an agent that will delete dead mail in mail.boxes. Once the code is in place, it can be stored in its own database and run manually.

These five tips provide just a small sampling of what admins can find on SearchDomino.com's tips page. Once there, visitors can either search our library of administrator tips or conduct their own keyword search. If you don't find what you're looking for, let us know and we'll pose the question to Chuck, Mathew, Michael or another one of our experts.
