Here is a quick way to style Lotus Domino Web fields in CSS:
- Create a form and copy the following HTML code into it:
<STYLE TYPE="text/css"><!--
.fieldstyle {font-family: arial; font-size: 40pt; color:#f00}
--></STYLE>
- After copying the code into the form, mark the code as "pass-through HTML."
- Now, create a field and enter "fieldstyle" into the Class Tag field -- in the HTML properties of the field.
- Run the form through a Web browser.
You might want to play with the style attributes for different output. The color attribute is (hexadecimal) RGB -- try 00f, for instance.
Using this method, you could dynamically change the properties of a field, and/or different sizes/colors for different scenarios, etc.
CSS developers would obviously put the ".fieldstyle" into a style sheet, but this is a quick and easy way for non-CSS developers to start using CSS.
