If you're a LinkedIn.com fan like me, you'll love SearchDomino.com contributor Michael Kinder's new freeware tool called the Universal Contact Synch 4 Lotus Notes (formerly know as LinkedIn Contact Importer). As its predecessor's name implies, this tool enables synchronization of LinkedIn Contacts with your personal address book in the Lotus Notes client. But with this updated version – it does so much more!

The current version is 1.01.13. With this new version you are able to import and export (full synchronization) with Google Mail, Yahoo! Mail, Hotmail (Live.com), Thunderbird, Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express and more. In reality, the export function will allow an export for anything that will accept users in the Outlook CSV format as an import format. In addition, the Import feature imports to the Lotus Notes personal address book from the Outlook CSV format -- no matter where it comes from.

A full-fledged LinkedIn Toolbar for Lotus Notes Domino is in the works as well.
